2022 promises to be a year of rapid growth for our Kubient [K]rew! To get to know our team better, we will be hearing from our staff about their position at Kubient and what excites them most about the future of our company.
Larry Mlawski, Kubient’s VP of Client Success, leaves a wake of transformative growth in his recent past. First, as the Global Partnership and Ops Lead at LinkedIn, next as the VP of Revenue Operations at Trusted Media Brands, Inc., then as the Head of Programmatic and AdOps at G/O Media, and finally as the Strategy and Ops Consultant at Prohaska Consulting. It’s fair to say that Larry has the experience to dig deep into the systems at Kubient, bringing growth and transformation.
Question: What excites you most about working at Kubient?
Larry: I look forward to cleaning up the programmatic ad process one transaction at a time. The promise of delivering transparent fraud free auctions for digital media is an exciting challenge.
Question: How have your past experiences brought you to where you are today?
Larry: I love building things and figuring out ‘hard problems’, including working across teams to solve for company and customer goals. I have been involved in the programmatic advertising space for over 10 years. Having worked at publisher enterprises, it’s hard to have media revenue taken from you for ‘fraudulent’ ads, and it is also hard on the buy side to have working media dollars removed from your spending due to having to pay for additional technologies or ‘taxes’ along the way. I have seen first hand the frustration that it brings to both sides, and I just want to solve for it and make buying and selling media easier, faster, and cleaner.
Question: What are some goals you have for the next few months?
Larry: I want to meet our clients and hear from them what they want most, and discuss how we can help them. Then, we’ll plan out those results and deliver on our promise.
